When signing up for the newsletter, organisations and private individuals seeking to use the service are asked to submit their information on the website operated by Velence Resort & Spa.

Other than the information collected by means of questions during the registration procedure (such as those referring to the login location, type of software used while logging in and the login date), no data are gathered or otherwise obtained by Velence Resort & Spa.

Data collected during the registration procedure are used by Velence Resort & Spa exclusively for the purpose specified therein, without incorporating them into its databases of other sources. Data collected during the registration procedure may not be disclosed by Velence Resort & Spa to any third party in any form.

As part of the registration procedure, in order to facilitate the registered users’ subsequent logins, Velence Resort & Spa may send small amounts of text (cookies) to the computers of said users. Acceptance of said cookies does not grant Velence Resort & Spa access to the computer, nor to any user’s personal information, other than those deemed safe for disclosure by the given user. Users may decide as to whether to accept cookies. Velence Resort & Spa, although making all reasonable efforts for the purpose of maintaining the confidentiality of registration data, may not be held liable for the eventual disclosure of said information when caused by a software or hardware failure.

Although it makes all reasonable efforts to safeguard the operation of the registration system, Velence Resort & Spa may not be held liable for any damages arising in relation to the registration page - including its inoperability and improper use -, due to a computer virus, connection or system failure or delay in data transmission, or the unauthorised modification of registration data by any person or entity.
