Velence Resort&Spa offers a real sports environment to our guests
Our indoor and outdoor facilities let you enjoy the magic of the crystal clear air, the tranquillity and the green surroundings of the LakeVelence area. Our fitness, squash and cardio rooms are open all year long. We also offer aerobics, spinning, belly dancing and yoga classes. A personal trainer is also available to help plan and implement the training programme.


Lake panoramic squash
You will not miss the spectacular view even when playing squash. The panoramic view from the resting area of our two courts offers visual and physical relaxation. A personal trainer is available by appointment.

 

Baby swimming
Regular swimming has a positive effect on the physical and mental development of children. It improves circulation and respiration and increases muscle strength. The results may also include a positive turn in the mental development of the child and an improved relationship between the parents and the child. Also, by putting the child in a new environment which they have to learn to adapt and respect, parentscan facilitate the child’s social and behavioural development. In addition, moving in the water improves movement and coordination skills.

 

We offer the following regular classes in our aerobic room

 

Body shaping
A class that works all the main muscle groups and improves your strength and stamina. Following an intense warm-up period, you exercise your whole body and all the major muscle groups.

BodyArt
This last stage of fitness is based on yoga and supported by the extensive knowledge of wellness education. BodyArt lets your body experience the freedom of movement that healthy children experience just as naturally. This class bears a close resemblance to yoga or pilates where physical exercise results in a form of mental wellbeing that indirectly impacts on your general health.

 

Step aerobics
This is a class with aerobics as its foundation. You step up and down from a platform, which works your buttocks and leg muscles. It strengthens the cardio system, improves coordination skills and is a very effective means of stress relief.

 

Spinning
Group indoor cycling with music in the background using original Johny G. bicycles. This is an exercise anyone can easily do. Following the instructions of the trainer, a group of cyclists spin like crazy with music in the background. It has a special effect on the muscles of your lower body (legs, buttocks) but your shoulders, biceps and triceps get a good workout too. This is a widely popular programme and is an exceptionally suitable way of burning fat and improving stamina.

 

Yoga Art
Concentration, controlling your mind and thereby creating a harmony between your body and soul or maintaining your balance are at the very heart of yoga. You become flexible both physically and mentally, you learn your strengths and weaknesses and it helps extend your own limits. You can use controlled breathing techniques like Pranayama to calm down your nervous system. As a result of persistent Asana exercises , your room for movement expands in every sense. Your energies are purified and harmonised.
